Health Requirements​

  1. All guests must be in good health and free of contagious diseases, and flea-free. 

  2. Please ensure you provide your cats a flea treatment at least 2 days before your reservation start date. 

  3. All guests must be free of fleas. Fleas discovered on your pet will incur a $100 sanitation charge, and a $50 flea treatment fee applied during checkout. 

  4. All guests must be fully vaccinated. These vaccinations include the FVRCP 4-Way Vaccination and Rabies (1 or 3-Year Variety). For cats that are exclusively indoors and have a written note from their vet, we will waive the rabies vaccine requirement.

  5. All outdoor cats are required to be snap tested for FIV and FeLV within 6 months of reservation.

  6. Guests over 3 months of age must be spayed and neutered.

  7. Please provide proof from your veterinarians that your pet meets the above requirements. Documentation can be sent via email or presented during check-in.

  8. If your cat requires medication, please provide clear instructions and labeled medications. We charge a $10 fee per cat (daily) to administer medication (no injectables).

Pickups and Drop-Offs

  1. Check-Out is from 12 PM - 2PM and Check-In is from 4PM - 6PM. Please allow up to 15 minutes for first-time check-ins, so we can get to know your feline friend.​

  2. We are closed on Tuesdays. Tuesday pickups and drop-offs will incur an additional $60 charge upon checkout.

  3. Pickups and drop-offs that fall on a Holiday Date will incur an additional $100 charge upon checkout. (Please see our Holiday Calendar for a list of dates)

  4. Pickup/drop-offs that occur outside our scheduled times listed above will incur an additional $50 charge upon checkout.

 

​Feeding Options

  1. To maintain our guests' routines and digestive health, we recommend that you bring their own food from home.

  2. If desired, we offer premium wet and dry food for an additional $10 per day per cat (applied upon checkout). Kindly note, changes to your cat's dietary routine may lead to digestive upset.

  3. We are also able to accommodate the handling of raw food at $5 per day per cat (applied upon checkout). Kindly let us know beforehand in the reservation notes.

 

Cat Demeanor

  1. In order to ensure the safety and well-being of both our team members and our guests, it is important to note that all services offered are contingent upon the demeanor and behavior of each individual cat.

  2. Each cat will undergo a behavioral assessment to evaluate their temperament, sociability, and comfort level. This assessment helps us tailor our services to meet the unique needs of each guest.

  3. In the event that a cat's demeanor poses a potential risk to themselves, other guests, or our staff, we reserve the right to adjust or modify the services provided. This may include limitations on staff interactions or additional measures to ensure the safety of all parties involved.

  4. It is essential for cat owners to communicate any known behavioral issues, triggers, or special considerations during the check-in process. This information helps us create a positive and tailored experience for each cat.

  5. By choosing us, you acknowledge and understand that the provision of services is contingent upon the individual demeanor and behavior of your cat. Our priority is to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all our feline guests, and adjustments may be made to accommodate the unique needs of each cat.

At this time we are not accommodating the following breeds:

  1. Serval

  2. Savannah (F1 to F7)

Cancellation / Refund Policy

  1. For reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, we offer a refunds with a deduction of a 5% service fee. This fee covers administrative costs associated with processing the refund.

  2. For reservations canceled 24 hours or more after booking, we do not offer refunds. Instead, we provide a credit for the value of the reservation. This credit can be used towards future bookings with us, and must be utilized within one year from the start date of the original reservation.

  3. For reservations canceled within 24 hours of booking, but less than 24 hours of the reservation start date, guests will be given a credit for the first day, and refunded for the subsequent days, with a deduction of a 5% service fee.

  4. We do not refund for early pickups. Instead, a credit will be issued that can be used toward future stays. The credit must be used within one year of being issued.

  5. If an early pickup is greater than 5 nights, we will charge for 2 of those nights and issue a credit for the remaining nights.

  6. Kindly allow three (3) to ten (10) business days for your refund to reflect within your original form of payment.

Discount Codes / Extended Stay Discount

  1. Stays of 15 nights or more are eligible to receive a 15% discount on their reservation. Please message us via the contact form before booking and provide us your travel dates to receive your coupon code.

  2. Discount cannot be applied to a prior early pickup credit. If using the discount code in conjunction to a prior early pickup credit, the new stay must be an additional 15 nights to be qualified for the extended stay discount.

  3. Discount codes received must be redeemed within five (5) days of issuance. Cannot be combined with other offers, coupons, discounts, or promotions. Valid for one-time use only.

  4. Void if altered, copied, transferred of if final reservation is less than 15 nights. Cannot be used for prior stay. Other restrictions may apply. No cash value.

Liability Disclaimer

While we are committed to providing a safe and comfortable environment for our feline guests, it is important to acknowledge and understand certain inherent risks associated with caring for animals. By choosing to board with us, you agree to the following liability disclaimer:

  1. We take all necessary precautions to ensure the health and well-being of our guests. However, in the event of injury, illness, or any other health-related issue, you acknowledge that Chats de Thé is not liable for any expenses associated with veterinary care. The owner is responsible for any veterinary costs incurred during or after the cat's stay.

  2. While in our care, cats may exhibit changes in behavior due to the unfamiliar environment or interactions with other guests. Chats de Thé is not liable for any behavioral changes or stress-related reactions during or after the stay.

  3. It is the owner's responsibility to inform us of any pre-existing health conditions or behavioral concerns. Failure to disclose such information may impact the well-being of the cat, and we cannot be held liable for any resulting issues.

  4. Despite our secure facilities, cats may occasionally attempt to escape or exhibit unexpected behavior. Chats de Thé is not liable for any escape attempts, and the owner is responsible for any costs associated with recapture or damages resulting from such incidents.

  5. Chats de Thé is not responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of personal belongings, including but not limited to toys, bedding, or other items provided by the owner.

  6. In the event of an emergency, we will make every effort to contact the owner or emergency contact provided. However, we are authorized to seek veterinary care and make decisions regarding the cat's well-being if immediate contact with the owner is not possible. The owner is responsible for any associated costs.

  7. By choosing us, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this liability disclaimer. We recommend reviewing your cat's health and behavior regularly and providing updated contact information to ensure prompt communication in case of any concerns.

Procedure for Abandoned Cats

  1. Abandonment is defined as the failure to collect your cat within seven (7) days after the agreed-upon departure date without prior notification and arrangements.

  2. In the event of potential abandonment, our staff will make diligent efforts to contact the cat owner using the provided emergency contact information. This includes phone calls, emails, and any other available means of communication.

  3. If the owner cannot be reached and the cat remains in our care beyond the agreed-upon departure date, the owner will be charged extended stay fees for each additional day.

  4. If the owner remains unresponsive and the extended stay fees accumulate we] reserve the right to transfer the abandoned cat to a reputable rescue organization or animal shelter. This decision is made with the best interests of the cat in mind, ensuring that it receives proper care and attention.

  5. To prevent accidental abandonment, we encourage cat owners to communicate any changes in travel plans or unforeseen circumstances as soon as possible. Additionally, please ensure that the contact information on file is up-to-date and accurate.

Image Use Permission

  1. We take pride in creating a visually engaging and vibrant environment for our feline guests. Occasionally, we may capture moments of playfulness, relaxation, or special events through photography or filming to share the joyous experiences with our community.

  2. We may capture photographs or film footage featuring your cat during their stay at our facility. These images may be used for promotional, marketing, or informational purposes on our website, social media platforms, promotional materials, and other related mediums.

  3. Your cat's images may be used in promotional materials, including but not limited to brochures, flyers, posters, and digital advertisements.

  4. Images of your cat may be shared on our official social media accounts to showcase the delightful moments that our guests experience.

  5. We understand and respect the importance of privacy. Rest assured that we will never disclose sensitive information or compromise the safety and well-being of your cat through the use of images.

  6. By choosing us, you acknowledge and grant permission for the use of your cat's images as outlined above.

  7. If you prefer that your cat not be featured in any promotional materials or online platforms, please inform our staff upon check-in or provide written notice. We respect your preferences and will ensure that your cat's images are not used for promotional purposes.

  8. You have the right to revoke this permission at any time by providing written notice to us. Upon receipt of your request, we will cease using your cat's images for future promotional materials.
